LINE OF FIRE
Line of Fire was filmed, edited, directed, and produced by Cameron. It details the experiences of professional elite-level biathletes during their racing years, and the abuse they faced. Shot over the course of four days in Winter Park, Colorado, the film blends vérité-style footage with intimate interviews to uncover not only the physical demands of the sport, but also the emotional cost of years of abuse.

OUR TIME
Our Time is the debut documentary by Cameron Kirkegaard, focusing on a group of women who graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1960. The film explores the misogynistic experiences they faced as teenagers, including restrictive expectations, dismissive attitudes, dresscode, and limited opportunities, and reflects on how much has changed since then, and how much has not.

STUPID
Stupid is a one-minute comedic short by Cameron that centers on a relationship argument over the care of a beloved stuffed bear. Though it was not done as a serious production, Stupid was an exercise in visual storytelling, and included lighting setups, such as complementary colors, to add flair and contrast to the scene’s emotional exaggeration.

WHAT IS LOVE?
What is Love? features a series of heartwarming interviews with kindergarteners answering questions about love. Created for Grand Junction High School Student Council, the short film leans into the charm and sincerity of kids rather than technical complexity. While it’s not a lighting-focused piece like some of Cameron's other projects, it showcases his editing style. It stands apart from his more stylized works like Line of Fire and Stupid, but still coneveys a clear message about the definition of love according to kindergarteners.

FALLING IN LOVE
Falling in Love is a short, lighthearted project created in an afternoon by Cameron Kirkegaard. Set to a famous Alan Watts speech about falling in love, the film weaves together a montage of sweet, romantic moments captured outdoors. While it does not include complex lighting setups as it was filmed outside, the film highlights Kirkegaard’s visual style through shot composition and pacing. The real focus is on mood and emotion, with editing that emphasizes the warmth and playfulness of the imagery, offering a simple but sincere reflection on love.
